You Are A Very Beautiful: NYC Day 13

The last day of the trip and could we be bigger brats? How did it all work out so perfectly? It was gorgeous weather, and surprisingly low key for New York. We woke up to this beautiful view on our balcony.
The upside of jet leg? We were up at like 5:30am, so we maximized our last day of the trip like nobodies business...especially sleeping people's business. We had a delicious breakfast and set out for a morning stroll through Central Park. I couldn't have scripted the whole thing to be better than it was. I might have added some conflict or a mugging in my script to raise the stakes, but, I digress. I'm talking about reality, which was so much better than fiction on this particular day.

The sights of the morning...

Favorite part of the day, and my life....
They were literally ice skating to Harry Connick Jr! Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan might as well have walked by saying quippy things. They actually did I think. This place was rife with the spirit of Nora Ephron.

 More romantic comedies...
 Browsing Central Park Zoo...

We really were there during the calm before the Christmas Storm...
I have Anthropologie, and Tom has....
 Pretties...
 Cool stuff at FAO...
Let's be honest: her pants are better than the big piano she's standing on.

And this old place...

The stores were all decked out for Christmas. This is Bergdorfs....

But we could not complete the trip without Tom's FAVORITE Pizza at his FAVORITE Pizza place...

And last things last. Tom gives us an interpretive facial photo of how it felt to be ending the trip and going home....

  1. Really? You use the term "favorite pizza place" without giving the place a plug?
